What is the possibility of obtaining a mortgage after complimenting a full and final iva:

Completion date: 03/2013

Will I have to wait until 03/2019 to think about applying for a mortgage again?

My partner has a good credit history and mine is poor (Full and Final settlement IVA agreed 18 months ago)

Would we ever be able to get a joint mortgage now? or is it worth trying again in 4.5 years time?

I am about to find out my fate if my F&F IVA Offer is accepted later this month. I wanted to know if I could fix my mortgage rate with our current lender? or would I have difficulty due to being credit checked?
