Hi Again,

Just thought you would like to know that I got a reply from the insolvency register. Apparently, my name is still on it because my IP never sent his final report or my completion certificate. I am going to send them a copy myself, so hopefully I should get removed soonish.

Oh that's brilliant! Than you!

So the record should show that I defaulted on the date the IVA was agreed but also that no further monies are due.

I have to say that when people have referred to an incorrect default date, it has puzzled me as to what that meant..

Hi Colin, To be housed by the council your wife would need to present herself as homeless. The council should provide her and your children with temporary accommodation, while they investigate the history and circumstances. If she agrees to the sale it is possible that the council could decide that ...

Thank you all very much! Ginger, rest assured I won't be seeking to do a cosmetic cleansing of my credit report. It's just that being on the register and having a bad credit rating affects and impedes aspects of my work. Compared to what people in Japan are facing today its a very small problem! Goo...

Thanks so much Kallis,

One final question then I will zip. Does checking my credit score either on line or through the post further damage my score as I understand that credit checks do that?

I started an IVA in 2006 and completed it with full and final settlement in July 2010. I received my certificate of completion from my IP dated November 2010. I have a few questions. 1. It is now 4 months since the date of my completion certificate, yet my name is still on the insolvency register. I...

Hi Foggy, Thank you for your reply. This maybe an extremely dumb question, but you suggest that before getting statutory reports next June from each of the 3 agencies I should check my creditors have dated their defaults correctly........how do I do that? In the end I wasn't clear who my creditors w...

First let me apologise if this post appears twice as I can't see it anywhere so I'm writing it again. I entered into an IVA in June 2006. I got a full & final settlement in July 2010. I received my completion certificate in November 2010. I have a few questions. 1. I am still on the insolvency regis...

Hi All, I apologise for my absence. Im spread pretty thin between work and family. I have loads of questions, with a change of circumstance, but will start with 1. Ive been in an IVA 2 years. At each annual review my IP has changed without my prior knowledge. When I asked why I was told this is the ...
