Hi 12 months to go We did f&f and it took 12 months for certificate. It was down to new laws about vat and ppi so things may have speeded up by the time you make your final payment. We were with GT and although 12 months was a long time in the grand scheme of things it wasn't too bad. Hang in there ...

Hang I'm there. I just got my CC from GT 12 months after F&F so they are beavering away. Agree its frustrating that closure team don't have phones though so its hard to contact them. Just be patient though as its totally worthwhile when it does.

Finally our IVA is finished and closed and we're debt free. My message to others is hang in there it's tough but the reward of being debt free makes it all worthwhile. It's amazing how quickly the time passed. Be patient and your smile will be as big as ours when our completion certificate arrived. ...

Hoorah hoorah I just got a very detailed response from a wonderful person called Claire who explains what's gone wrong and how its going to 'hopefully' be rectified. I wish there was a newsletter/alert that explained this to save me (and probably others) from hounding them for answers. That's all I ...

Thanks everyone for your comments and sympathy. I'm sure Karol is a real diamond and will get back to me when she has a moment as i'm sure she is busy. It's always the same that the good guys get swamped as they are the only ones willing to help resolve things. I'll be more patient and wait for Karo...

Over 12 months after f&f settlement, no PPI involved and still no completion certificate. They have no phones in closures team, take 10 days to respond with a bland response and Karol hasn't acknowledged my email or replied yet. Worst company to deal with for customer service and communication ever....

just called and they sent me one and and i replied and it worked. Are you possibly sending the same email to them that you've already sent once already? i wonder if their server recognises it as a duplicate message and rejects it? I can only deduce that's what was wrong with mine.

Hi Bazza, do you have a phone number for the closures team at GT? If you have could you let us have it please as there's lots of us that would be delighted to speak to them directly as they don't advertise their phone number, just an email account. Would be eternally grateful.

Thanks Mel, not sure if i looked in the right place but is Karol's email address ivacustomerservices@uk.gt.com, i emailed closures and cc'd that address but heard nothing yet? I agree with the other members, its the lack of communication that that's the problem. You call the IVA number and they don'...

Hi 'I am fed up'

Not sure how long you have been waiting for your CC but why not join me in the daily calls to customer services in hope that it annoys them enough to process our paperwork if only just to get rid of us.

Hi Becca, thanks for this invaluable info, im glad you stood your ground. They told me this morning they legally have to pursue it. Left hands and right hands don't seem to know what they are doing. I told them in July 2012 not to pursue with EIC and that i had never taken PPI as its pointless as my...

Hi Sara84 Thanks for your message. That's exactly the same story im getting. Twice i've asked for the PPI exemption form as we never took PPI. Just when they promised before xmas (same as you) that my papers and CC would be in the post a letter arrived from the same company they use PPI claims for s...
