Glad you sorted this out. I had the same problem with my IVA as the company were trying to tell me it was £5,000 per couple but with interlocking IVA’s as ours was we both received individual chairman’s reports quoting our individual share of £5,000 each. We had to argue this point and in the end th...

I have a similiar question. IVA ended 2016 C.C received 2017 and in middle of selling my house. I have put offer in on another house and explained to Mortgage Advisor about IVA which he is trying to reassure me everything will be ok. This week received paperwork to set ball rolling and one of the qu...

Yes they did this on the same day I contacted them to be fair and they sent me a copy of the paperwork but it can take anything from couple of weeks to three months so hoping it does not affect sale of house. The IVA company are NTF who appear to be one of the better company's compared to problems t...

I agree with you Lisa, it seemed so long at the time but after final payment we received a lot of paperwork to sign and included was a statement stating the IVA company have up to 12 months to issue C.C and another agreeing they get any outstanding PPI. For them to continue with the closure stage we...

We made our last payment June 2016, took to march this year to receive c.c and yesterday we came off Insolvency Register. Never thought we would get to this point and oh boy what a lovely feeling. Hi after I made my last payment & waiting for my c.c I had a ppi company claim back money independently which they paid straight to IVA. I didnt think for one minute they would find any as the IVA company already sorted this out. I was worried that I would have to pay fees but I was advised by IVA c...

<t>My last payment was June 2016 & finally was told completion certificate would arrive in Dec 2016 which one worker denied I was told that when I contacted them in Jan & feb. They told me they have up to 12 months to issue C.C and I signed to accept this. My argument is that I will not come...

We were in the exactly same position as you; interlocking IVA's but separate chairmans report and each had our own IVA protocol contract stating "My share" and not "Our share" and the IVA company telling us that the equity was between us. We argued the case just as you have explained it and they eve...

We made last payment in June 2016, still waiting for completion certificate. We signed several forms at the end; for e.g allowing further PPI to be paid to IVA which we don't mind as we know all PPI has been paid over. One form in particular which made reference to the IVA company taking up to 12 mo...

Excellent news, great result ! I do wonder how many people who do not know about this forum have accepted what their IVA company told them and have paid extra 12 months when they did not need to.

Hi Dori.n We had the same problem, we had IVA Protocol and agreement stated 85% LTV but IVA company worked ours out 85% net worth and that we had over £5000 equity. Not only did our agreement say 85% LTV but we had modification from KPMG stating equity had to be based on IVA Protocol (Annexe 6 or 7)...

I agree with you both. I wasn't expecting my payments to reduce and I was still expecting to pay 60 monthly payments, which should be my last one this month. I don't agree that I've only paid the 60 x monthly payments and they have not calculated the O/T or PPI into this. So instead of only paying o...

Coming to end of IVA, I've paid 60 payments as required, 50% of all overtime earned over past couple of years and PPI of x amount. IVA have only calculated the 60 monthly payments and when I asked about the PPI & Overtime apparently this gets paid into 'the arrangement' but does not reduce the amoun...
