RESULT!!! I received the balance of my monies back in my bank account at the weekend without them even notifying me. I received a very apologetic letter confirming that it was a huge mistake to have let it get to this stage in the first place and that because of the inconvenience caused to me they h...

Thanks for your replies so far. Really eased my mind knowing that others think the same as I do, and Melanie confirmed it too. I have since spoken with Santander who have confirmed that if I send in my IVA completion certificate they will reconsider their decision. I have already drafted out my lett...

I called Santander yesterday to be told that they have made the correct decision and that I am not entitled to any more than they have given me. I will try writing to FOS and see if they are able to assist. Hope they are as I have a few credit cards that I know I have the same sitaution with, and wo...

Thanks for that. I'm going to call them this evening and if still no success I'll formulate a letter to that effect and enclosing necessary enclosures.

I wouldn't mind so much , but I never defaulted at all on the loan! It's mad!

I'll let you know how I get on

Thanks

I started an IVA in 2007, but by 2009 I had repaid the the whole of it off with full and final settlement (courtesy of bank of Mum and Dad!) My agreement was £0.79p in the £1, and it was a £10K loan, so without interest I had atleast £2K "written off" I think that is why I am concerned more so, as know there is a chance they could have a case on me.....only thing is I don't understand why they would give me any money at all if there was ...

Lol - you know more than me!! I had a loan with Santander that was included in my IVA, but I never defaulted on prior to the IVA being agreed. I then paid off the IVA with a full and final settlement, which was obviously agreed by Santander too. I would have thought that because they had agreed that...

I started an IVA in 2007, but by 2008 I had repaid the the whole of it off. I recently had a letter from Santander stating that they believed I was misold PPI on a loan. I completed the necessary details and it was confirmed that £1040 was due back to me. I sent my bank details to them and this mor...

Hi all Just a quick message to say that today my creditors agreed my full and final settlement offer! Such a relief! Cannot quite believe I have gone from being nearly £20K in debt, to being debit free two years later - obviously a severe way to do it, but am just happy I can finally start over! Wou...
