So after 6 years in my IVA due to no equity and then 14 months waiting for DFD to do their stuff to get creditors to approve the variation for the ongoing PPI saga (meeting was end of May) I finally received my CC certificate yesterday. I had emailed DFD two weeks ago as I had heard nothing and was ...

I contacted Matt through this site and replied very quickly saying DFF are in discussions with creditors about varying original proposals to a...

Yes Mel I was surprised at the length of time quoted by them - they said "The closure process can take up to 8 months to complete then you will be issued your CC. A review for miss sold PPI is also part of this closure and will be completed during this time" Seeing as though EIF have been looking at...

Had to do 12 month extension in place of re-mortgage - now down to DFD and EIF to see how long I have to wait for CC. It's been 18 mo...

Thank you Lesley , I've done a little overtime recently so I'll keep half aside incase they want it. They will be having at least £5000 extra from me through ppi claims so hopefully it will be a smooth ending but reading posts on here you never know and I'm with DFD so I'm keeping all my fingers and...

Hi Lesley, that must be really strange still having the payment in your account. I can't imagine how I will b feeling in August when it (hopefully) happens to me. That's a good idea keeping it in there till you get your cc. Let's hope its not too long for you. Hopefully my ppi claims will be sorted ...
