I would advise doing what I did when GT were stalling on sending my CC after I finished:- keep mailing your supervisor and the closure team and ask them specifically what status your closure is at as you want the information to collate a complaint to their governing body. If your agreement, like min...

I too keep getting calls from GT's PPI helpline (really EIC Ltd from Glasgow) even though I have finished my IVA, got my CC and signed a declaration of no claim ? After receiving 3 calls yesterday which rang off before I could answer, I decided to call them back to remove me from their records and s...

Hmmmmm !!!! It would be interesting to find out who exactly GT would pay with any PPI that was re-claimed ? I mean, the IVA has ceased to be, the creditors have been paid and obviously agreed to the final payment hence the issue of CC. Your account is closed so there is no way of making a further pa...

Hi rbc1010, I too was in the same position as you and have finally made GT see sense and issue me with a DONC (Declaration Of No Claim) plus, I will NOT need to sign the Variation paperwork. I was getting more and more frustrated with the excuses GT were giving for witholding our CC and after severa...

Whoa !!!! I want a job as an IP supervisor. If you can get at least 15% of any PPI claim from a former client, even though the IVA is complete and a CC has been issued, thats the job for me [:)] I was under the impression that once a CC has been issued, thats it, game over, thank you very much, get ...

Right, Have got an update. We have received the paperwork for the variation and it seems to be very ambiguous. The letter head clearly states Grant Thornton, but the return address on the pre-paid envelope is to EIC who are GT's PPI reclamation partners. There is no clear statement in the forms that...

Thanks for the replies guys, So let me see if I have this right ? My IVA has, in all effect, ended apart from the issuing of CC. I have received paperwork from GT asking for my permission to grant them a variation of my terms, allowing them approach our creditors in a view to closing our account bef...

Thanks for the advice JPS,
I will start collating information to give to the IPA as there has been NO contact with me regarding a variation meeting, so it looks very much like GT has breached the terms of contract.
I will keep updating this thread as and when I have any news.

Thanks for the reply luluj, I know GT are experiencing a backlog presently, and my paltry 7 and-a-bit month wait is relativly small by other sufferers of GT's closures department, but the point I wanted clarifing is, that if my (or anyone elses) IVA is still open later than the stated monthly agreem...

Hi, I hope someone can give me some guidance / help ? I made my F&F payment to GT June 2012, sent my payslips for the year in November 2012 and yet after 8 months I am still waiting for any news on my CC. In the documentation I signed at the start of my IVA in December 2006, it states that my IVA sh...
