It infuriates me every time this issue is raised, simple fact of the matter is that as long as you don't have a certificate of completion you are technically still bound by the terms of your IVA, you can't win. I now have my certificate after making an offer of full and final settlement to my credit...

Thanks David, I simply want the certificate of completion, the terms of my IVA were as follows "Assets" Items included, Property, Bank account, Windfall. "Third Party Assets" "No assets other than those owned by me are to be included in the IVA" How does this stand with them witholding the completio...

I've been reading through pages and pages of information on the PPI issue, simply trying to get to the bottom of how IP's are getting away with not issuing certificates of completion for up to two years. Whilst reading through my own paperwork I discovered that I am or should I say was, in a Non-Pro...

OK here are the minutes and resolutions of the variation meeting of my IVA on the 27th April 2012. "That the following resolutions were duly passed. That the debtors property be removed as an asset of the arrangement. That creditors accept the total sum of £ xxxxx.xx in full and final settlement of ...

Only advice I would give is to clarify 100% what full and final means, these forums seem to be unable to answer that question fully, so talk to you're IP and ask them to clarify in full in writing so nothing can come back and bite you on the butt

The problem is rather simple though, having complied with the terms of the IVA fully, adhered to all the conditions laid down, made final payment, we are all effectively being blackmailed, it's a strong word I know, but it is just that, they won't issue a certificate of completion unless you sign th...

You won't get much help here I'm afraid, been asking about the "PPI" issue for months and all I get is advice from those that gain most from seeing it through. I'm with GT and have been waiting since May 2012 for completion paperwork. I have in front of me GT's letter regarding PPI dated 18th Februa...
