I think it is barmy to say IVA firms use CCC outdated I/E guidelines. My IVA company used their own even though I sent them my CCC's one. And I got more from that than on a CCCS DMP. Let's answer the question directly to the poster and say that creditors DO NOT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE RAISE IN THE COST...

Creditcard companies are now tightening up on credit. Barclaycard are reducing credit limits on some customers and more are refused CCs. If these tougher creterias on CC borrowing were in palace 10 years ago, none of those now on an consumer IVA would be here on this forum. The exception would be bus...

This is the first time I have heard on this forum that fees are charged in variations. Was it ever in the small print of your IVA contract? It is only right like a credit agreement everything is spelled out. I can't even find that in mine??

Problem of DMP is like you have experienced, creditors change the rule book as they please..I hate that. You are asking whether you should take out a consolidatpry loan to pay for debts, with some of the debts been written off. You might want to consult with your DMP company as they are guidelines a...

I think very few on this forum is paying less than 40p to the pound with these TIX decrees of min' dividends. HSBS don't take less than 42p? The more creditors want the less debt written off unles you are paying 32p to the pound as Aguise mentions. I have sen 60p to the pound quoted here!! I get my ...

If you have property, there's virtually little written off.

Aguise's figure of 60% written off is pretty good. Mine is around 40%.

You can release EQ from share ownership, it just that it is not allowed to be used to pay debts off. Maybe that should be in the small print in the sales literature.

People who brought a bargin share accom' may not have have done so if there are restrictions to EQ release.

Hi,
I don't think any basic Bank account do have a cheque book.I have looked at them all.

I do have 2 chequebooks but that is a historical thing with the accounts opened prior to IVA with Nationwide and Natwest.
