Is there any other way of getting in touch with Equifax other than opening a dispute on their website?
I emailed Experian and my default was removed on the day where as it remains on my Equifax report and 9 days after opening a dispute via their website, no action and no reply, it's so frustrating!

Thanks for the reply, normally I would leave them just to drop off but I'm wanting to get a mortgage so the sooner they are gone, the sooner I can get applying for one.

Hi guys, My credit report is nice and clean since I finished my IVA apart from one default and the IVA itself. The default will reach 6 years on the 19th of March, who do I need to chase to make sure it gets removed, is it the people who put it on there or the credit reference agencies themselves? I...

So is the start date the court date as it appears on that report?

I have already spent the last few months clearing them up and am very close to having everything sorted, just tying up a few loose ends and this is one question that was bothering me.

Just out of interest, I was just checking my credit report with Equifax and I have 'Court Date' of 31/03/08 but I then have a 'Satisfied' date of 31/03/09?

What is the difference between the two and which of the dates is it 6 years from that the IVA will fall off the account?

Hi TheMatrix, Thanks once again for your input. I entered into my IVA on 31/03/08 The default date from Max Recovery is 19/03/08 So in that regards it is correct, however the default was not applied to my credit report until after I received my CC. Max Recovery have agreed to change the default to s...

Sorry to bump an old thread but I have eventually had a reply from Max Recovery, I would have contacted Matrix directly but I couldn't see a way to PM someone on here. I have posted a link to their reply below but in summary they have said that as Barclays would have already applied a default to my ...

Hi inextinguishable,

Thanks for posting this, it will prove very useful as further to my posts above, Max Recovery have added a default to my credit report after I received my CC which they should not have done, I can now use your letter as a basis for sending my own to them.

Hi TheMatrix,

Hi guys, Since finishing my IVA a few weeks ago I am in the process of trying to sort out my credit report, I have been in touch with Equifax and have had the Notice of Correction removed from my file. One thing I noticed when I was going through all three was that there were no defaults appearing o...

Cheers for that advice, ill get on to it tonight, I've already sent them one correction with an address they got wrong. I believe I had 4 creditors but none are showing up, complete or incomplete so I can only assume they have been removed?

The "Court Information" is showing up as red due to my iva being on there and "Notice of Correction" is showing up as yellow due to my iva as well
