Not all creditors have been equalised. This is a term used on an email to me when I requested an update on closure off my account. Can anyone explain what this means please?

Iva completed march 2013 have been advised by GT that will not receive completion certificate until Jan/Feb 2014. Is there anything I can do to speed this up I was hoping to change my car early next year. Can't see how I can until this is finalised. Any advice please?

Under what circumstances could iva payments exceed the 5 year term. I have read that sometimes they can go on for 6 years. I have finished my 5 years last month and an worried to see this may not be the end?
