Not all creditors have been equalised. This is a term used on an email to me when I requested an update on closure off my account. Can anyone explain what this means please?

My iva with GT ended in march and I am still waiting my completion certificate. I am looking to rent a property and I see from the agents website that they use a credit reference check. Does anybody know if GT would issue me a letter or something to confirm my agreement has ended and I have not miss...

That is really interesting thanks for that . I am trying to hang on as long as possible as I think once you've been in this situation credit is the last thing you want to enter into. However a car is a necessary item so I will have to look into it at some stage this year probably. Good luck anyway a...

I think the lack of communication from these companies doesn't help and also the inconsistency in the advice you get when you make a call. Depending on who you speak to your not given the sane information twice. It would be nice if you were given some form of timetable of the closing process and an ...

Hi Lesley I feel exactly the same way as you regarding credit I think going through this process teaches you a hard lesson. I too need to change my car and I understand from GT I could be waiting 7/12 months for my certificate to come through. This is a long time to wait if you need to change your c...

I note from the forum people are recommending the vanquis card. I would also like to apply for credit to change my car. Do I need permission from my IP to do th...

Can't believe that after 5 years it is likely to have to wait at least 7 months before this is sorted. This leaves you in limbo and there is nothing that can be done
