OK guys, here's the latest. I was contacted by one of Judith Andertons team as stated previously and promised an Individual Variation meeting which would be quicker than the Mass Variation meeting. I was told on 24th Jan that the paperwork was due out within a few days. This was to say that I agreed...

Just to update you all, I had a call from Judiths team within 24 hours of her e-mail on here. I was promised an individual variation meeting and paperwork was going to be sent out straight away. That was 10 days ago....and still I wait, and still my house needs to be repaired. Am I right in thinking...

Please can someone tell me if this is all above board? I completed my last payment of £693 over 5 years with DFD in August 2013. I also gave them a F&F of £8500 on the understanding we were issued with the completion certificate within 3 months. They happily took the money and dished it out to our c...

For those of you just starting...it will get easier as you adjust your lifestyle to suit the spare ca...

I keep pinching myself when I see I've got money left in my account 4 days before payday lol!!! I wanted to ask a quick questi...

Well done Mrs T.... We're right behind you with a F&F Variation meeting set for the end of this month after 58 months payments of £713 completed. OMG we're going to enjoy our first major holiday when it's all done and dusted. Here's hoping for a swift CC from DFD too. I have found them to be very pr...

Both the final two payments were agreed to be cancelled as the agreement was made before the due date for July. End of this month... It could all be over. How excited are we this month? We can aff...

I'm going to give a shout out to DFD here.... Samantha Benson is being very professional and is working hard to seek a prompt resolution. My wifes'health continues to deteriorate but Sam is doing all she can. We got ourselves in debt....we have to get ourselves out of it. We've done our bit (almost)...

A further question. I have had a good chat with DFD. They state my proposal is with the supervisor for submission to creditors to arrange a variation meeting. My father in law has stated that because he is offering the cash sum as a full and final, one of his conditions is that our last payment of £...

OMG that's amazing.
I've put a Full and Final offer into DFD which my father in law has offered.....my other half will have tears of joy rolling down her pretty little face if we get similar speed of settlement.
Fingers crossed for a DFD super result.[:)]

Hi again, Thank you for all the comments. Whilst I understand they are all with the right intentions I didn't really expect it to turn into a "have a go at DFD" session LOL. We have equity and we fully expected to have to either re-mortgage or extend. DFD states £8500 will more than likely be accept...

Just to update you all on what is happening. We rapidly recieved a call from Select Finance after my post on here. (It does have an effect clearly!!). We do have equity in our property, but due to the lending criteria of the banks we are unable to release it. So, Select Finance has stated that, foll...

Hi, My wife and I are into month 56 of 60 in our IVA. We have submitted the required documents for equity release to be assessed. I am concerned that DFDs chosen mortgage broker Select are taking so long to respond to us. Are they possibly waiting for the house market to heat up further to increase ...
