I don't see why you cant have a variation to close. I had one ppi claim outstanding after all payments made(still is ongoing after nearly 2 years)The variation is to close the case but if any refunds come back from ppi then they still go into your IVA until 100p in the £ is achieved. I finished paym...

I had variation to keep ppi separate, and it took a while as the wording needed to be redone. Don't know if this is the same as template being redesigned, but this was back in June/July. Variation was then held on 5th august and got my CC on the 9th August. Could be something they say if its held up...

I don't know if this helps, but we were allowed a 2 month payment break to allow for our roof to be redone. I had to produce 3 quotations for the work and it had to be approved by my IP, but it was fine. we just made the missing 2 payments at the end so it ran for 62 months instead of 60.

I finished payments in October 2012 and was constantly phoning to get the CC. I had one ppi claim outstanding which made it even more frustrating and had not been handled very well by EIF. Eventually I posted about it all on here and Judith from DFD picked it up. (this was June) she got the ball rol...

The fees are reasonable, and fully accepted them in the proposal, I am just not happy and pretty gutted that £3.5k of them were completely avoidable. I've worked hard to pay in as much as possible over the 5 years and I did it and then some. (predicted payments and equity release totalled £68K, Ive ...

Don't hold your breath about getting anything back!!! Firstly if there is only one PPI claim outstanding get in touch with Judith and ask for a variation on your IVA to let this PPI claim be handled separately and then your IVA can be closed. If you wait for the PPI claim to be done, it could be for...

Hi xxxx72, I was in the same position with PPI - Payments completed Oct 12 and PPI was holding it. I managed to get in touch with Judith at DFD via here and she did a great job. We had a variation meeting on the 5th August 13 to keep the 1 x PPI claim that was outstanding and holding it all up separ...

It's been hard but achieved 99.3p in the pound and it was projected at 86p in the £ with 10k equity release. We didn't do the equity release as kept increasing our payments so outcome overall was better (oh £7k was ppi). DFD fees were just over £8k in the proposal but were over £15k in the end so ve...

So today is my variation meeting. The variation is to allow 1 PPI claim that is still outstanding to be handled separately and close my IVA. Fingers crossed it gets approved. With all contributions the IVA falls short of 100p in the £ to creditors by about £300. Wish me luck people. Last payment was...

Oh no, I really feel for you, but know where you are coming from with being told different things. I am just trying to get my cc after final payment in Oct 12. When you see ive paid 100p in the £, plus £14k in fees and there is a surplus, you would think its pretty straight forward. It wasnt until I...
