Hi and welcome to the forum. Little tip, try not to type all UPPERCASE ;) You must tell your Iva company if you've moved. If the rent is different then a review may be required. Moving house without telling them is very unwise and contrary to the spirit of an Iva. If you're struggling to pay then so...

Sorry if these points have been mentioned already, but I feel it only fair to share my experience. And of course my own personal opinions only! Perinta, the "early exit loan" company that are associated with Creditfix don't offer good deals. They add up all your remaining payments, add on another ye...

The way I got around this was to use a Cashplus card. This is a prepaid credit card but has the benefit of having a sort code and account number. You can use this to directly remove funds from Paypal and no need for anything to touch your bank account. Not that I had anything to hide. Far from it! J...

I would leave them as-is too.

Check your terms and conditions... Mine state that I have to show evidence of any INCREASE in bills. Nothing about those being left alone or reduced.

Hi, As Foggy says, the wording is important. If I recall correctly, someone on here said that the Nationwide ask specifically "have you entered an IVA in the last 5 years?". Which is nice, as you could answer "no" truthfully. My opinion is you don't have to declare it even if asked the dreaded "ever...

It'll be over soon. Don't be nervous, be exicited!

You're shortly going to be completely debt free!

Also what ever you face or crops up, someone on here will be able to advise you.

Probably one for the experts but does having been in an IVA preclude one from becoming an Insolvency Practitioner?

The experience gained at the sharp end of being in an IVA would, I think, be valuable for dealing with clients and understanding how they feel and what they face.

Hello Jennifer.

Don't worry I'm with Creditfix and despite some bad press initially on here things settled down and they are getting a good reputation.

Why don't you tell us exactly what has happened so far?

If he is not part of your iva then no he's totally safe and no matter how much money he gets its his. Even if his income was taken into account for your income and expenditure figures a windfall that is his remains his. However, just to be clear do not put any money in joint accounts. If the mortgag...

Your credit score will hit rock bottom I'm afraid... But remember your credit score is actually just a number the credit reference agencies come up with. Only you see it and it's their opinion of the data in your file. Any company that requests your credit file sees only the data not the score. They...
