One final post hopefully it will be good news to others in the same position or nearing it. Following the receipt of my cert of completion it took 3 working days for my name to drop off the insolvency register so no horrid 3 month wait which I expected!

Hi all Received my certificate of completion yesterday can I dare to believe it really is all over? I have the report and confirmation that the insolvency service will be contacted. Also is it worth in that case staying away from former creditors and companies with in their group in the short term and trying a completely new lender I've never had history of any kind with?

How long after receiving my completion certificate will I be able to approach mainstream lenders for a loan? Will I forever be blacklisted on bank records?

Thanks Melanie that was what I thought but you can never be to sure with things like this hopefully there wont be anymore of this type of thing to raise its ugly head!!!!!

Does anyone have any information relating to the next round of potentially IVA delaying banking scams? Interested in hearing from IPs is this something that will be jumped on for re benefit of creditors??

What are the incentives for an IP to keep an IVA open? Do they draw monthly fees out of the pot?
