Very unfair Andy! I've just had a look at the formula on the Consumer Credit website - you need a degree in maths to understand it!!! But looking at the couple of examples that are on there, I'm now more conviced that our figure is way over the top.

To say I'm shocked is an understatement!! We are in the process of switchingover our mortgage with the help of Zebra and last week I requested redemption figures for both our mortgage & our secured loan. When I initially rang for the figure, I was told by the firm who we have the secured loan with t...

We're just in the process of changing mortgage companies & Mike from Zebra is dealing with that for us. He is fantastic! Each time I've emailed him (and there's been numerous times!) he has replied straight away. He has manged to get us a deal with a high street bank which will save us £300+ a month...

Why do you have to pay the £179 into your IVA??? Do you not have the £500 windfall clause saying you can keep anything £500 or under? I distinctly remember experts posting on here when CPP first came to light saying that as the amounts would be minimal, IPs wouldn't bother asking clients for it!

Melanie - it isn't simply a case of it still showing - it's the fact that it reappeared after having been removed a couple of months ago after I queried the default date then! How can it be put back on??? Is that even legal????

So, the day of our monthly credit file update is here. Noddle & Equifax - clear as bells, top credit ratings. Experian? For some unexplained reason, a default has decided to re-appear on my file!! With a default date 1 month & 10 days over what it should be. How on earth can this happen?? This has b...

£500 here too for the starting amount. Just gone to £1750 but I'll not use that! That's one reason why I pay the full amount by D/D - so I'm never tempted to use more than I can afford to pay in full each month. Having no overdraft facility is wonderful!!

I've just received my gold "upgrade" today Lesley! I just spend a little each month on it (don't need to, just want to prove I can pay it off), have the full amount taken straight from my bank each month so hopefully my credit worthiness will soon be the best it can be ( once I manage to sort out th...

Does anyone else have the same issues as me with credit files?? Why do the same creditors show different information on eah of the main credit files? It's so frustrating!!! I have one creditor who had my default date as a date before it actually was [:)]on one site, the correct date on another & a d...
