Hi all I started a joint IVA with my husband back in 2007 with Accuma which was then taken over by GT. We completed in 2013 having paid a year extra in lieu of remortgaging our house. Last year we successfully applied for a new mortgage via a broker recommended from this site (Zebra) with Halifax at...

I have another address direct to a real person However I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate me publishing it on here! Email me and I will give you some details and hopefully you may get lucky!

Before you get to closures you should use This email address:-

IVACustomerServices@uk.gt.com

I always got a reply when I used this, albeit from a different person each time!

Thanks for that. All I can say is that once I was in closures it did take the six months. You won't come off the Register until you have received your Completion Certificate though.

Today I have been removed from the dreaded Insolvency Register and my six and a half years of struggle are finally over. I know this isn't the case for everyone out there in IVA land but I just wanted to put a positive post out there for Grant Thornton and their staff. I was originally with Accuma a...

Hi Foggy
Looked this morning and mine has gone! It just doesn't make sense that they haven't removed yours too?

I'd be interested to find out what they say. I just naturally presumed our names would disappear from the Register like other forum posters have mentioned previously. I just want it ended[:(!]

Foggy

I have been told exactly the same thing today. I got GT to email my documents to me as although I completed in December, I still haven't received them in the post! I did the same as you and sent them to the IIR and had the same reply. My status is still showing as 'current' too.

Our IVA finished at the end of April. We had our MVM in May and was passed to closures in June. We were told that it would take six months from this date. Today I received an email to say that our IVA was closed at the end of December! We are still awaiting the paperwork but at least I have had conf...

Hi I have finished my IVA (waiting for CC). However, Santander refused to let us onto another fixed rate after our initial one finished. We have now been on their variable since 2010. I didn't mention the IVA as was just looking to fix not borrow any more but they knew about it and it's their policy...

I have a Smile account and had one prior to entering into IVA. I have never had any problems with this account. However, my question is I made my last IVA payment (6 year term) in April and have been told by GT that I am now in the closure process. Will the Co-Op still view this as an open IVA with ...

Hi My OH (who is in joint IVA with me) has just been offered a new job which he really wants. Howevever, the contract has just come through and it says that they will carry out full background checks including a financial probity check. He won't be dealing with money (he is an engineer)so I don't un...

I just don't understand why being in an IVA should mean that you can't fix a rate? It's not as if you are asking to borrow more money but just to be secure in knowing what your payments will be.
