Hi Thanks for the replies. I received a cheque from DFD which stated it was money left after all monies had been paid so I take it that was for fees as well as I would not expect a refund if everything had not been covered. When I phoned Aperture this morning they said they had only taken on active ...

Hi Very long time since I have been on here as my IVA was completed 7 plus years ago. My IVA was through debt free direct. I had no idea they had passed all cases onto Aperture until I received a ppi claims reward from Barclaycard for high commission. The award was close to £2000 and they advised th...

Arh right thanks I wasn't sure if it would be the FO, who would be the regulators for IVA and PPI companies?
I have just sent off a rather polite but firmly put email to DFD and will see if they reply if not I will send an official complaint to them.

Hi I do not post here very often but feel I need some help regarding my IVA. My final payment into my IVA was in August 2012 and some 15 months later I am still no closer to getting my IVA signed off as completed and being able to move on with my life. Debt Free Direct never reply to emails I send t...

I feel I may not be alone in this rant... A little back ground, I made my final payment into my IVA in August to DFD some 7 months later I have had little or no contact with DFD. My PPI are being dealt with by Equity in Finance and this seems to be where the problem lies. They have had my case for o...

Hi So had a letter today confirming I have only 2 more payments left! August 8th 2012 is my final payment date and I am amazed how quick the 5 years have gone. I really can not wait for that final payment to be taken. 2012 is turning out to be a massive year for me with some massive changes and fini...

I can't believe how quick it has gone to be honest. There is some question of a small shortfall in the payments but I am hoping the PPI claims that Equity in Finance (don't get me started on them) have got will easliy cover this short fall so come August 5th I will have no debt. Along with other thi...

I cannot see that a break of such length could be negotiated - and this would need the agreement of your creditors additional additional cost relating to the calling of a meeting. Are there any family members who could assist with the purchase? My family don't know about the IVA so not sure that wo...
