Well, it is official!! Last Wednesday, 2nd September 2015, I received that singular piece of paper that we all dream of receiving, my Completion Certificate! The amount of worth (emotionally and in every way possible) is absolutely unmeasurable! To have received my Completion Certificate within less...

I can only but echo all that has been said by others. Whilst each persons case is specific, I really would recommend speaking to a few IP firms. I spoke with PayPal myself initially but found their approach to not necessarily be to my benefit or for my best interests. I can only honestly say that I ...

Where do I start really but to you who have read any of my previous posts you will know that I have been on my very own IVA journey where I chose McCambridge Duffy as the team to 'guide' me through it. Well, for sure that was the best decision I ever made.  When mt IVA became unviable in January of ...

Thanks, yeah a debt management plan would definitely add to the stress.

If Michael of McCambridge Duffy reads this I would appreciate his view.

I just don't know which way to turn.

I appreciate you taking the time to reply Foggy. As u suggest McCambridge Duffy can hopefully enlighten it for me a bit further although when I spoke to them last they felt that such an offer would not be acceptable. My thought would have been that any offer is surely better than none and this is my...

Hi Foggy
I was hoping u would read and post!
Given your experience and view how likely or unlikely is my husbands offer to be acceptable given the huge difference in the original projected return in the £? The alternative is as I said my creditors petitioning for my bankruptcy. I am sick with worry!

Thanks Lesley and Michael for your replies. I rang santander just now to ask if a credit check would be carried out on the person who was to become a signatory as my personal credit file would show up the fact that I was in an IVA? The young gentleman went to check with his manager and came back to ...

Hi everyone Hope you are all well. This morning my employer asked that I become a signatory to the business bank accounts. I agreed that I would because I assumed that on the basis that it was not my account that there would or should be no problem in light of my IVA. Now I'm not so sure having spok...

Thanks Luluj and Foggy for ure replies, much appreciated! Wud be much easier to say no to our in laws me thinks. Just to clarify though it is just me solely that is in the IVA, not my husband. It is his credit card that was used to order and pay for the goods. Surely he is not bound by the terms of ...

Hi luluj
Many thanks for reading and replying. In an ideal world that's exactly what we would do but both of us work full time, miles away from the bank and it is shut on our day off at the wkend. Paying it off in full by my debit card means no trips to the bank.
