Well it's been 72 months of long hard slog , would of been 60 months but had an inheritance that added another 12 months to it . During that time I was also made redundant but managed to only miss one payment which was made up as soon as I was back in work . Took any sort of job to keep this going a...

Many thanks for the replies both . I use a bank transfer every month to pay anything due on top of my monthly amount so I wouldn't have any problem keeping on top of it for another 12 months . I were just interested as it was not something worked into the original contract . Time will tell I guess a...

Never missed a payment , paid in windfalls of redundancy and all OT required so to be honest I will be glad to see the back of it ! All that said , I did inherit a share of the home I live in bu...

Told my IP about all this and they were fine . got my redundancy payout and was advised on how much of it I could use . No problems so far excep...

Just a quick update . Something did not seem right in my mind about the advice I was given so I rang the Insolvency Service this morning to ask them . They were very helpful and advised me that the only reason they send this form out is to ascertain if the liquidated company has in any way shape or ...

I just asked this on a redundancy forum as I want to post it back tomorrow and one of their IPs' gave me this response . " TUPE is the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006. In simple language, it is about when you transfer from one employer to another employer without...

This is where I am getting confused . If I say yes there then follows a list of other questions which all relate to the new job as being one being done under TUPE . I.E Is my supervisor the same , are you using the same machinery , are you dealing with the same customers etc etc . There is nowhere t...

I get an email this morning saying the Insolvency service have received them . Great I think , things are moving at last . This afterno...

I am free to work any days I please so am free to work elsewhere . Myself I am with you regarding being an employee as I see it as an employed position myself . I perhaps should expand on the job itself . It is what is known as trade plating . I get to base and pick up customers car which I deliver wherever it may be , then onto next garage to do the same (all worked out first by company and 90% local one to the other ). This goes on all day until last job ...

Many thanks both for your input . I hadn't considered an accountant at this stage but it is a good point . I also like the idea of getting some sort of forecast sorted out . This I may be able to do next week as I am having a meeting with the employer so will get a better idea of money that can be e...
