[:D] Well its here! My CC and reports arrived this morning after some chasing and nearly 2 months after them being issued and IVA being formally completed. I have to say, I felt undewhelmed slightly by the drab looking CC with a couple of lines saying it was complete. I wanted a full blown gold edge...

Hmmm, considering if you ever missed a payment or had PPI outstanding that they would want this money in the pot so why is it when they owe you, they want you to waive the refund like money grows on trees? I'd stick to my guns and get back what is due to you and not sure why this should hold anythin...

Just a follow up. I got a letter saying I'm due compensation as they said I had made card protection payments. These were cards I had years before I even entered a IVA :/ Question is, is compensation a windfall that I need to pay into the IVA despite finishing it in Dec (no CC as yet) or is it not s...

Thanks Melanie, I'm sure the advice will help.
We always made sure we had cover as it was always important to us.
I hope people will check their cover policies and contact their IPs if they do find their in trouble because of this weather.
Stay safe everyone.

With all the flooding in the Uk and more bad weather coming in, maybe a little advice for those who may be affected that are in an IVA with no home insurance or cover. Can people in IVAs get some help with stalling payments so they can get their homes back up and running if they have been flooded or...

Am I the only one who thinks an IVA won't be worth the paper its written on soon? Its seems to me the new protocol is defeating the reasons why people may take out an IVA. Just hope people will consider the factor of debt against debt especially one that can take away your home if you fail! Watching...
