Thanks, Lisa; I've been mulling this over for weeks now. Will need to do something but will probably wait until after Christmas now as I doubt I will get a response before then.

Hi Kallis; the problem is the only paper work I have is the original proposal when the IVA was set up with Money Debt & Credit. I have no paper work from Aperture about variations so I don't know what those are. I only became aware there had been variations when I queried why the extension was for a...

The IVA won't finish until June 2017; this would mean I would have to wait until at the earliest the start of 2018 before even thinking about going ahead to replace the boiler. Six months 'savings' would not even cover half the cost of the work. I have been pondering for over a month now about chall...

I am in the process of taking a lump sum from my workplace pension, principally to pay to have central heating system updated. Will I have to notify IVA administrators? I was planning to ask them to make a proposal to my creditors I would be willing to make a payment of £2,000; my IVA was recently e...

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on here who offered advice re. variation of terms/extension. Having checked all correspondence from Grant Thornton/Aperture,looks like I may have a case/cause for complaint.

Fab, thanks Lisa! The IVA was initially due to come to an end in June '16; I was so looking forward to it and now this extension has set me back; I am so stressed out!

Unfair is the word, Michael. Should point out they are extending the IVA because of the non-release of equity. Talk about having you cornered in every way! According to the customer service person I spoke to this morning, they have a record of me calling them to say I agreed with the variations; I h...

According to them, when they sent out notification Aperture (then Grant Thornton) had 'taken over' from MDC, variations were included and it would seem they have a record of me agreeing to that. It was over 2 years ago, so I have no recollection of what was in the correspondence and while I keep all...

have been on the phone with an Aperture customer service advisor for almost an hour; the extension terms were varied when they took over from Money Debt and Credit. So I'm stuck with it for another 12 months after the original closure date of June 2016. They blame everything on the creditors... Now ...

This is ridiculous; I have just been told by Aperture my IVA will be extended for an extra 12 mths because I can't remortgage; I accept this in the terms of the IVA but according to my agreement if there is no equity they can't include the property and the IVA concludes. Someone please advise Merced...

I received a letter from Aperture today that because I can't remortgage my IVA is being extended for 12 months; while I know this is in the agreement, I don't understand how if there is no equity on the property (which there isn't) that, as set out in the terms of the agreement, the property is excl...
