We started our Iva in February 2013 and paid a full and final in 2015. We are now hoping to buy a house after renting for the past five years. We will have a deposit of around £100k from an inheritance. What are our chances of getting a mortgage now and what is our best way of going about it.

Hi there. We are two and half years into our iva. Our parents have now asked if they can gift us money to buy out of it. There is 10500 left to pay. What would be a good offer that would be likely to be accepted?

Can we ask for a full and final. We have been offered a sum of money from close relative to help pay full and final settlement. We are currently paying £390 per month and will be in our iva two years in February. Any idea on what would be the settlement payout and if this is possible?

Hi there. Is it possible to buy out of your iva. Since we started paying it off my husbands business have become successful and he is earning a good salary. We wondered would it be better for us to try to release ourselves from it if we could so we could think about buying a home.
