As a relatively new contributor to the forum, would I be right in thinking that creditors will also have access to the site, so asking questions which specifically relate to sensitive and personal details may not be such a good idea? If the IVA proposal isn't successful, and we have to file for bankruptcy, can a relative pay the difference between the value of the car, and what you are allowed as a reasonable cost to the OR? The cost of running and repairing a much older car is going to be greater than the running costs incurred...

Hello If during the IVA you have any unexpected costs which are not covered by household insurance such as an appliance needing replacing, or a car repair bill which is higher than you are allowed to budget for, what would happen? Hello Once your IP has sent you the draft proposal to check and sign(which will be happening shortly), how long before the creditors meeting usually? I'm assuming that if the IVA is approved then payments will start immediately, (our IP will have a cheque for the first month's payment at the meeting...
