If our salaries continue to increase we may well find ourselves in the position of paying back 100 p in the £. If that is the case, do we keep any extra money each month, or do we make overpayments to finish the IVA earlier? If we cannot raise a minimum of £10,000 equity in our house in year 4, we h...

We're with British Gas for both, and have increased to £150 per month (although I'm not sure that covers it) We live in a large 4 bed Victorian terrace, set over 4 floors. I have no where to hang washing outside, so tumble dry everything in summer(and their are 5 of us, so lots of clothes, bedding t...

I can't believe we are nearly one year in! But we are! I don't know where the time has gone! As our first review draws nearer (next month) I have looked through our Income and Expenditure figures and am shocked to see just how much more we are paying for things than this time last year. Has anyone e...

Thought £65 to fill the tank was bad enough, but it cost me 20p short of £70 this morning. I was staggered! Beans on toast for tea look ever more appealing!

AArgh...a small moan!
It has just cost me £62.80 to fill up my car with diesel! It used to cost me about £50! (And that was with a 5p off voucher from the lovely Tesco!)
By the way, one tank lasts me a week!!!!
Ho hum!

Hi Long time no post.....9 months into our IVA, all going well so far! Our expenditure has increased as I suspect has many people's (childcare, food, diesel, school meals, gas, electric, mortgage, council tax etc...) and without exception every increase is above the rate of inflation! At our first a...

Greetings....long time no post! We are nearly 6 months into our IVA and it is going pretty well so far. (although, we like everyone have noticed increases in childcare, fuel, food, utility bills, school dinners etc so don't have much leeway each month) Wanted to tell those of you who don't know that...

I think it depends on the specific wording of your IVA. Ours says 50% of any monies received above the agreed monthly amount. Hubby has had a decent payrise since the IVA was approved (the first month actually!) and we pay 50% of the uplift to the IVA. At our annual review we will obviously have to ...
