Hi! I know how you feel as i have been in your shoes before. Foggy is right, all you can do now is send them documents they ask so they can start your completion process, but make sure next time you make a follow up on phone, make a note of the persons name you spoke with and follow it up with an em...

Such a small debt would have been caught by the IVA anyway, so I would try using the template to see if they will default the account and back date it to when the IVA started. Then, when the start of the IVA is more than 6 years ago, the default and all those red marks will disappear. Plan B, if th...

If the debt was pre-IVA then it should have been defaulted with a date on or before that IVA ... and they would have been included in the IVA. If it hasn't been formally defaulted it will remain on file, so you need to get them to record the default with the correct date and it will drop off on the...

Hi everyone!
Am now in the process of checking my credit file for mortgage purposes. I have seen one company in my report showing arrears but date was before I entered IVA.
What can I do to remove this in my file? Will very much appreciate your help, as always.

credit scores, in themselves, are pretty much meaningless. Each CRA has their own scoring system and potential lenders are not given the score --- it is just a simple way for us unititiated to see how we are supposed to be doing in the grand scheme of things. the number of debts and defaults will a...

Credit scores do not start to repair until your iva is completed and certificate issued. Six years from its start you will see credit files start to tidy themselves off. At this stage there is no point worrying over what one says against the other.
Thank you for your reply.
