I dislike this time of year, the pressure we feel to buy gifts and be full of xmas cheer isnt fair. All i can say is this...christmas is for kids really, only buy for kids. I would def find a broker where there are no upfront fees....there is no way i could have paid out on valuations and solicitors fees with our budget. I even had a quote from one brokers who advised i just wack the charges on a credit card !!!...and yes he new we had done a IVA. Thank goodness i foun...

Important to ask about upfront fees...i am guessing that you wont have funds for solictitors and valuations...so no upfront fees is important. i might be wrong so forgive me but surely without the IVA the debt would have been bigger cos of the interest, if the interest is frozen while on a IVA then the debt amount remains the same, but without the IVA every £ you paid back so much would have gone on the interest.
