Hi, I have been in an iva for 2yrs and I would like to come out of it. Would I be able to talk with my creditors myself in arranging payments with them and would they put the last 2yrs interest back on. Many thanks.

Hi foggy,
I'm so glad I found this support forum had the sense to check this one out because I could have signed without thinking.
I checked the forms again this morning and they say power of attorney and must be signed as they form part of the IVA agreement.

Would it do any harm to sign it if there's a chance they could claim something back to put in the pot.

Hi Melanie, first of all thank you for replying. I'm with Harrington Brookes and the change was done in house. I'd asked before the creditors meeting if I had extra money left over in the month I could pay it into the pot and they said yes but if I had more than £500-00 then it all would have to be ...

I wish I'd just kept paying into DMP which I could see light at the en...
