Hi Sue IF you want to appeal then I would write a short letter explaining that whilst you appreciate the deadline for appealing has passed, you don't feel in a position to do so until you have the full documentation relating to your employment (personnel file) and full disclosure of all evidence, mi...

Hi Sue Not been around for a few days so only just catching up on the post. I am so sorry things turned out the way they have for you. As I have said in other posts, it really annoys me when employers take this type of stance when there are real alternatives to dismissal. IF you decide to take this ...

Good Morning Sue

Just wanted to say hope everything goes OK for you today. Stay positive, stay calm, try to take in what is being said during the meeting, and above all know that you have done nothing wrong.

If you want any advice post-meeting then we are all here for you.

Hi Melanie I work for a company that offers a finance rental product to SME's for IT equipment. As we attach an insurance product to this rental we are FSA regulated as an insurance intermediary. The policy I have introduced relies purely on a person's capability to perform their job and in no way r...

Hi Bluesusie67 I am a HR Director for a private company. Just wanted to add my point of view. Firstly, you need to get a copy of of your Contract of Employment to establish what it states on IVA's. If you don't have one phone your HR department and request a copy - tell them you need to prepare for ...

Thanks Melanie As well as being a HR Director I am also in rather a lot of debt, along with my husband, who as a result of our joint debt nearly wasn't my husband anymore. We are luckier than alot on this forum, we have enough equity in our house to clear our debts, but we can't afford to remortgage...

Hi Vikhibby
Why is your job making you ill ? It sounds like you have alot on your plate and perhaps BR and the comfort of mum being there may not be a bad idea. As Beechy says it's a big step but your health is so much more important.
Hope you make the right decision for you.

Hi Janot FYI - I am a HR Director. Your company cannot change contracts unilaterally. They must invoke a consultation process to do so or they are in breach of contract and you would have a successful claim against them for this. When consulting they must provide legitimate business justification fo...

Hi Julian
Just a quick question - should I file the AN1 or should the firm acting for my creditor file the AN1. I have the form but I am slightly confused by it.
Thanks
