Hi, My IVA is done and dusted and well past the 6 year limit. I'm aware that individual lenders keep records of their own that may be much older than the 6 year CRA limit. I moved to a new bank just before I applied for my IVA (good advice for anyone considering the same). Is there any way my bank (...

Hi,
Does anyone know if Max Recovery are still trading. I had a debt transfered to them and I've noticed an error in my credit file. When I try to call them a get a message saying that they are closed until the 29th December! Not sure how I would get this tidied up if they have gone down the pan!

Some further thoughts... 7. PPI- we all hate the PPI vultures, but if you are in the middle of an IVA its worth investigating this early, outstanding PPI claims seem to be a regular cause of delayed IVA completion. 8. Just because you have reached month 60 or 72, don't expect to get your completion ...

I too have this situation where although the loan shows as settled, only late repayments are showing with no default date. this item is now more than 6 years old, but has not disappeared from my report. I believe this is because of the missing default date. I have written to the company asking for t...

How would CF even know if you had a savings account. I had two savings accounts during my IVA to seperate savings for annual bills and one for the odd amount that I managed to accure through the 50/50 rule. Unless they have some neat trick, the savings accounts never showed up on my credit file, onl...

From my experience the defaults have disappeared quite promptly (within days) of the 6th anniversary of the default. It is however worth checking the default date of each debtor, as in my case the default date was often much later than the IVA start date, so the shame hung around longer than I would...

Hi, My IVA completion certificate was issued back in April 2014 and for the most part my creditors are now showing as settled or satisfied, however I have three that are still showing as defaulted. I'm struggling to correlate the data as most of the debts were sold on to other companies. I have one ...

Thanks Michael.
Interestingly on Experian the CCJ/IVA has disappeared completely this month and my credit score has improved by more than 220 points!

Now that I've received my completion certificate, I'm starting to see changes appearing on my credit report. Slowly but surely my credit agreements are starting to change from defaulted to settled (which really is a pleasant sight!). My question relates to the CCJ for the IVA which also now indicate...
