The unsecured debts are not your responsibility unless personally guaranteed by yourself. As Andy says you should seek advice from a couple of IP firms. Just on a technical point, whilst not suspecting it to be the case here, it is worth pointing out that there are instances when a director of a li...

My opinion differs from that of Lady H. Well, I'm not sure it's quite clear cut that your husband's credit profile will not be adversely affected. It does depend very much on the account itself and how it is operated For instance, if the joint account is operated using an overdraft facility, then te...

A satisfactory conclusion would be the arrangement giving the stated return to creditors within the stipulated timescale in accordance with the terms of the proposal. In the event of there not being a satisfactory conclusion then what happens to the monies paid in to the arrangement is dependent on ...

I have made an edit to my post, which I think answers the question.
Unless you have been served with the requisite notice, I believe the arrangement was unsatisfactorily concluded after two months. I cannot confidently say that I am 100% right though.

It's not rocket science, no.
At least not until you get involved with these sorts and get bamboozled in to thinking you cannot possibly handle the paperwork. That's were theyll try to hook you.

These people have a website. It looks very familiar to and contains a lot of the exact same information of a site that was going by either the IVA Review Board or some other such name some time ago. I did have them in my favourites but because they seemed to die a death, I must have removed them in ...

I wonder if anybody has actually considered what might happen to any payment protection (I was thinking of mortgages in particular ) in the redundancy situation. You would also be wise to consider what happens to that in the scenarios of both voluntary and compulsory redundancy. I believe there are ...

I think one of the first things you should look at is whether, in the current economic climate, you will actually be able to release equity from your property. I am sure that you will have to disclose your circumstances to any potential secured lender. I would imagine that a lot will hinge on your a...

I think you would probably need to check the terms of the arrangement, with your current IP. I'm not sure there can be a joint IVA? Two sole arrangements can be run as interlocking and I suspect this might be the case with yours? You are going to need to check the terms of the proposals - Was there ...

The person to ask in this instance is your supervisor. Because the VA is almost 2 years old, there may be clauses in, or modifications to, the proposal that deal with bankruptcy and its funding. It may well be that the Supervisor has to retain sufficient funds with which to petition for your bankrup...
