My husband received his completion certificate last Saturday and I have just checked and he is no longer on the insolvency register [:)]

I think we will have steak for dinner tomorrow.
We are both now debt free.[:D]

I have today changed the payment date for Junes payment to the 1st rather than the end of the month.This will be his final payment,at least it should hopefully speed up completion certificate by 4 weeks,My completion certificate took 9 months to receive as they were waiting for confirmation of balan...

As a result of this thread I Have checked the insolvency register.I am no longer on there and I received my completion certificate on Monday,They seem to be very efficient at updating things :-)

I have just had a call from my husband my completion certificate has been delivered :-) ( last payment made July 2014)so it has taken a while , I was wondering if I should celebrate tonight or should I wait until my hubbys IVA is completed (only 3 more payments),
Or shall I go mad and celebrate twice?

I am with Payplan and as you can see from my above post I was initially told that I would have to use my surplus to pay into my husbands IVA.It wasn't until the actual IP got involved that this was corrected.I would definitely speak to them and question it.

Well I finally have an answer, It has taken until last week for my iva company to get an answer directly from my IP ( although I don`t think they actually asked until I had my review in early July and queried it again). I make my final payment on monday :-) and do not have to pay into my husbands IV...

My husband and I are both in IVA`s. mine is due to end in July 2014 and my husbands June 2015,we earn roughly the same and currently each pay 50% of our surplus income into our IVA`,Once mine has finished will I be able to keep my 50% surplus or will this have to be put towards my husbands IVA
