Hi I might give that a go - not sure how much they have fallen by in our are and whether this would be enough of an amount to make a difference, I think I need to face up to it, take a deep breath and call the regional office this week and ask what they are doing, If it is seven grand then so shall ...

Thanks Melanie again your calming virtual presence has made me feel better! do you think its possible for me to argue with them re the mortgage penalty? it seems unfair that if we were to pay off our mortgage tomorrow we would be expected to pay that amount? do you think they would take into account...

Hi there everyone Happy newish year if I haven't already said it. I had a letter today (had almost forgotten I had been made in BR in Sept) saying that my case had been passed to the Regional Trustree and liquidator for the region. Stating that he would deal with the assets remaining in my estate an...

Hi Pippa Yes am good thanks, although I have to say that I hadn't realised how stressed out i had been with BR. It seems ever since Sep 12th I have been on a rollercoaster of emotions which I can't explain to anyone unless you have been throught it. I have been a bit amazed about how nice my OR man ...

This is what makes me so mad! my OR said to me that they cannot legally take the child benefit as it belongs in essence to the child which is why you get it as a parent. I cannot believe that your OR can take this it seems a conflict of everything that I have read and have been told and doesn't foll...

its like the old saying you get with one hand and it taken away with the other - I was the same, we were clapping our hands in glee at having 20 quid a month spare then we realised that we now have to pay more council tax due to the rise for this year and next which is 16 quid extra a month - sigh -...

Hi Mish hope you are well - Melanie was right I was talking about after the BR dischage and I have no IPO set up as I was under the threshold. My big concern now is that my new promotion comes into effect in April of next year and I don't want to earn any more money (BIZARRE NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD HE...

Well according to my OR the property becomes the interest of the OR after BR and no one else can have it as it were. He said that NR always try it on but no judge would allow them to have it as this would be seen has favouring them over other creditors which does make sense, therefore this is why th...

Hi Andy thanks for the reply - yeah that is what I am thinking reading through it again as it has the hearing date to be vacated which makes me think they have seen sense and have dropped this - they already knew I had gone BR as myself and the OR told them this on the date that it happened! just th...
