I've only ever had an overdraft of £500 and I hate seeing 'DR' when I got a statement so for me, it wasn't as bad as a CC. I think there should be something in this country similar to that in Germany regarding overdrafts, it sounds much better - and sensible.

Hi Fudge, we told them we'd made a few changes from the original BR form and he said he would send us a new form. We are actually over our total income with it all (god knows how we didn't go BR sooner!) and that is including tax credits. I think I will get in touch with him, he asked us to send a C...

Glad it went well for you fudge, it must be a relief for you and your husband. The OR still hasn't sent through a new I&E form for us and our interview was the middle of september!

If I remember correctly, your IVA information will stay on your credit rating for six years even if you pay it off early. I'm sure one of the experts can elaborate further on this.

You'll do better than I did then Andy, I couldn't remember a thing and my OR was quizzing me for ages about the loans. You sound really clued up on yours but as has been mentioned, only answer what has been asked of you, if they need more they will be in touch. Good Luck!

Ah Jane, I know exactly how you feel. I often think my husband and daughter would be better off without the person who got us into this mess but it's not true, they wouldn't. Lily is right, a visit to the doctor may be an idea. I have been on anti depressants off and on four the past four years and ...

Glad everything went ok. Good luck with the next bit, I found the big OR interview worse than going to actual court.

Hello Douglas, Re your pension that is indeed one that you are paying into. I had trouble with all the dates of credit so I put a guess in and explained it to the OR in my interview, he doesn't mind if you are unsure but he does need to ask. I also put credit card in the bit where it asks what it's ...

I don't understand how you can fund a IPA if you simply don't have the funds in the first place. I wonder why they said you weren't going to have one and are now saying you are. I'm a week or so behind you so I hope I don't have all this to come. Apparently it takes two to three weeks for the OR to ...

Thanks, yes I think it is Jane. I think if you apply online it goes into 'computer says no' mode and that's it, hopefully in branch you get a more 'human' response.
