For anyone concerned about this - I have received a reply from a gentleman at the Insolvency Service - he advised me that owing to a computer problem I/Ps (at least in my case!!!!) are being shown on the register as being linked to the first company they worked for. Their I.T. team are working on th...

Very true flow - if the Insolvency Register has - as I understand it - been down for maintenance / update - then it would have been really good if they could have taken the time and effort to ensure that the information published on this totally open website was indeed correct before going back "on-...

I am totally confused. My entry on the register has been accurate (apart from a change of IP) for 45 months - yet this wierd amendment has suddenly been inserted. I am sure RSM Tenon are a jolly good company but - how on earth have the Insolvency Service suddenly linked me with them? I am with a com...

I can add my experience to this - I have just checked my entry on the Insolvency Register and it states that my IVA is with "RSM Tenon Recovery Ltd" - a company of whom I have absolutely no knowledge and with whom I have never had any contact. I have e-mailed my concern to the Insolvency Service "Fe...

Well Skippy - it depends on where in Middlesex you are - if you are in the Uxbridge etc. area then the Night Bus is every 15/20 minutes nightly (I am sure you know that). And on the many times I have used it it all sems O.K. Plus of course the Met line runs until 0030hrs. from central London. Never ...

I know that for many posters outside of London - the thought of 24 hour 07 days per week bus services may seem strange - but it does exist for people in Central london, Essex. Kent. and Middlesex. Just take a look at www.tfl.co.uk. No excuse for a car to be honest. Less petrol - more money to your c...

Hello cynical- I am with an "IVA Company" who used to receive some poor feedback on this site. I am very very happy with the service that they have provided to me. I am so looking forward to what - I hope - will be the completion of my IVA early in 2012. You raise a good point - an IVA is a mega dec...

Thank you Carole - I know that the position outside of London can be totally different. But I know from reading the forum over the years that some people MAY (I use the word cautiously!!!) be able to avail themselves of the situation in London. We have the luxury of regular 24 hour all night buses -...

I am way into my IVA (nearly 4 years - hurrah!!!!) - and am NOT with Melanie Giles company. But I have learned a lot from her posts over the years. Nevertheless - I made my own choice when starting my IVA - but would just like to say that - obviously - we all decide with whom we wish to proceed - we...

Just a couplpe of comments - When I started my IVA my Nominee / Supervisor fees were clearly set out - if I disagreed with any aspect of these then clearly it would have been 100% my responsibility to pursue any request for a variation thereof AT THAT TIME. Fortunately - for me at least - my IVA com...

Very important to make sure at the start of your IVA process that you have chosen a company that you feel at ease with. I got my initial advice on debt solutions from CCCS (brilliant - many thanks to them) and then decided to go with Debt-Free Direct for my IVA proposal. It may sound silly but I was...

Can I just echo how good it is to have Declan on the forum. To copy comments by Sensible 77 - there most certainly are always two sides to every story. That is SO important to remember when reading a first version of events. I too hope that everyone reads this thread to the end to see the outcome.

Are the failing companies going to be identified by name? If not then this report is probably not an awful lot of good to the newly arrived consumer / customer.

The whole IVA business does seem to have settled down a lot these days. I remember reading horror stories on the Forum about old cases where people were charged by the hour worked by their providers and ended up with frightening fees / charges. That no longer seems to happen. I am in a pre-protocol ...

Thanks Kallis, Mr.BlueSky , and Melanie - for your kind welcomes. Posts such as Hotmercs make me feel very lucky that I seem to have struck lucky in my choices at the initial stages of my IVA. But - as the saying goes - "It is not over until the fat lady sings" - and I can still only dream of the di...
