Thanks Foggy I took your advice and was upfront. They are going to suggest the six months up front. I do hope he gets it. He has set his heart on this and I would hate to see him disappointed because I was unable to be a guarantor. Fingers crossed for tom

The issue is he doesn't have any credit history. They may accept him on his own due to salary etc. Do all lanlords.estate agents do credit checks?

IVA completed last year on a F&F due to drop off credit file next.month. 6 years. Why are some of the companies still defaulting. The actual default dates are there or there about. Will these automatically drop off after the 6 years. I'm looking remortgage. Any help please. Thank you.

Letter from the Natwest collections dept asking that I call them to make arrangements to pay off my loan. IVA concluded with them in it. And I have my CC . Any advise welcome. Thanks

That's a relief. PPI was never an issue really. More than happy to allow. It was and is always my intention to pay back as much as I could. An Iva was the best thing I ever did.
