I have been chasing CF since last year requesting we sort out if we have any equity in our home, which may push us into a 7th year but all I keep getting is someone will be in touch. This should have been sorted in month 66 and is now ge...

We have just found out exactly the same about our IVA, finishing post is in site after a 72 month IVA and credit fix dropped the bomb that a 7year will be needed if there is any equity in our home, we are also with NRAM. At this present moment I regret going on an IVA !!!

Hi,

Has anyone ever heard of the term Freehold Land and Property payment? If so would it be the same as a usual monthly contribution?

Many thanks

Plus they have just dropped the possibity of a 7th year when no-one has ever menti...

It says during the 5th year the supervisor is to obtain a market valuation, remortgage will be to a maximum of 85% loan to value, if the debtor is unable to obtain a remortgage, the arrangement may be extended by 12 months.

Yes NRAM is a creditor and our mortgage provider. Our original term was 60 months and when that was due to be up I rang credit fix to ask what to do next and they told me to set the standing order up for another 12 months.

I keep reading about the equity clause in peoples terms and we have that too, however we have just paid month 62 of our IVA and have never been asked about any equity, can we still be made to remortgage after 6 year...

Many thanks for the responses. NRAM are one of our creditors and no we would still have £300 disposable income. I haven't asked our IP if we can reduce our payment yet, I guess I am so paranoid that something is going to go wrong so close to the end of the IVA #128542;
