Hi everyone, I should have sent this update last week. Finally the loan came through, not with Blemain but from another lender. Unfortunately the apr was not under 12% but hey ho, beggers can't be choosers. My advice to people out there looking for a sub prime 2nd mortgage would be as follows. First...

Oh dear bad news. The valuation on our property came back £50k below what our estate agent advised us, therefore the money we can borrow has been substantially reduced. Basically it isn't enough so I think we may be back to square one. He wants to to take the money and make agreements with the rest,...

No worries, I didn't mean my message to anyone specifially. If I was reading my story I would think the person a little potty for continuing. What I did forget to mention is that I do believe that this whole debacle has frightened him. I won't ever trust him again and I will continue to snoop throug...

Around February of this year my world fell apart. In the space of a few days I found that there were £10k mortgage arrears on our property, which was in joint names. My husband had debts over £150k. I knew nothing of any of this as he had been hiding the post from me and when he was working away ask...

Hi, Sorry I haven't been around, I had some awful news. My solicitor has committed suicide. I just can't believe it. He had helped me quite a bit, he was the second or third I went to and was lovely. Seemed so strong and together. I feel so bad. Now I need to find another one. Could anyone help me w...

Oh my goodness. I have been so scared of logging on. I thought that I would be bombarded with hate messages saying I was selfish. I have just cried. Thank you so so very much for the messages of support. Jasperyogi - ty and I am sorry to hear about your daughter, that does put things into perspectiv...
