Having curiously searched the web for this "new site" it appears there was an option to comment on our own individual "listings page". Now i know my IVA info is available to those that take the time to search for it, but a site created that offers a personal disscusion on my situation is totally una...

Im my experience, my iva was based on me earning a set amount of overtime and they never expected any extra payments unless i earned more than was required to afford my i/e agreement. The standard 50/50 rule would be unfair in your current situation. I would be looking to get a set amount of overtim...

Are they increasing your payments or just adjusting your income and expenditure to suit their guidelines ? I've had caseworkers with payplan who have openly told me what their guidelines are, but no doubt they are not all singing from the same sheet. Keep receipts of the disputed allowance to demons...

In my experience while we was waiting for acceptance, we divided our surplus between the creditors. Mine and my wife's plans were proposed for £100 each. We both had 4 creditors so they got £25 each up until the iva started. As foggy has already mentioned, creditors will wonder how your managing pay...

I had issues with payplan and reciepts. A conversation with my IP was also refused. I even turned to citizens advice but as soon as they found out i was with payplan they said they cannot offer any advice as your with this company. With no where else to turn i googled my IP's name and found they had...

Their income allowance sheet can be updated whenever they like, why would you have to wait another month to submit the same thing.

You need the attention of your caseworkers supervisor.

I find with payplan the best way for communication is to phone and ask for an appointment with my case worker.

Can take upto a week but have always kept to the appointment in my experience.

Nichola also states on the other thread that the cheque was cashed on the 17th sept last year.

Surely DFD have accountants that could trace a cheque deposit?

Payplan paid me the interest as soon they had received the first successfull ppi claim. This was a good year before the investigation was complete. Maybe it's just easier for GT's records to send one cheque when investigation is complete. Fingers crossed it's worth the wait and you recieve a much la...

I have not had a cheque book for many years but i do remember they used to have a retaining slip with the cheque number for records.

Is their any chance your mother still has the same cheque book somewhere in her house.

Surely a DFD accountant could locate the payment via the cheque deposit.

The IP's lou mentions are probably mentioned on the front off your proposals. Google their names and they have their own website with an email address next to their names. I seem to be dealing with my third caseworker who seems hellbent on my making my life hell, and quoted the exact sentence lou3 ju...

Virgin customers also get a small discount on the mobile packages. Ive managed to swap both mine and my wife's orange contracts onto virgin while in an IVA with no trouble at all. Un-fortunatley this was only after i put myself through that embarrasing moment of failing the credit checks in a busy c...

You mentioned a family member paying off your full debt.

Would it be worth offering a reduced full and final to end both iva's.

It's possible it could work out better for you in the long run (depending on the figures off course).

That £397 budget you speak about is not just for food,it's a housekeeping budget. I would love to be able to feed my family and keep the house clean and the clothes washed all for £17 but the reality is I can't. What about nappies/milk formula/pet food/cleaning products. All of these are rarely redu...

I can't beleive what i am reading from lou3. OP asks for some general advice and recieves a post about someone who had a job at 14 and 3 at 16, went on to get loads of A's. Blah blah blah blah blah. Life is not so black and white for all of us, we don't know the OP's full situation, you seem to have...
