I understand it will be on my record for 6 years (so 2 to go!) My partner and I were looking at some houses for a mortgage, we have about 15% deposit so 85% mortg...

Hi, yes, sorry i asked my iva and they said about £8000 (roughly £282 x 30 months left) i thought was odd as i've been paying over my agreed amount, but then i don't know how it works! really i wouldn't be happy asking to borrow £8k from the person that has offered that's why i come up with £4,800 T...

Hi all, I’m thinking of offering a full & final & was wondering what you all thought. I am 2 years 7 months into my IVA and have posted on here before about how much I want it to end!! My debt was about £32k and agreed to payback £282 a month. I done this for the first 12 months, then after a job ch...

Just a wondering question... Within my IVA I have included a sofa (approx £1000+) i took this sofa out in my name only, but it was for a flat with my girlfriend. We split up but she kept the sofa. What would happen if i removed this from my IVA? I guess i'm stuck as it's in my name, but it makes me ...

I was going to borrow the money off my parents and pay them back over the same 3 years thats left on my IVA, so my income wouldn't be so free, but was hoping that my credit rating would be amending over that 3 years.

Thanks for your answer.

Hi, I've just completed my 2nd year into an IVA. I was going to look into a full & final payment, because of wanting to build my credit up. But reading through the posts on here your credit doesn't get better until 6 years after applying for an IVA. Is this true? If so what are the incentives for a ...

I had car costs, deposit for a rented place & bits for it, sofa, washing machine, bed, etc. So the pay rise I got over the year was eaten up. I tried to explain this and they said the 50% should’ve covered it, 50% didn’t even cover...
