Oh but I know that when the iva compnay did the PPI through an outside company they contacted them as they did a credit search, no PPi like I told them but they contacted them anyway, so I would assume now they would know?

It is still open, odd ay? They keep sending me new cards, haven't applied to increase limit as scared to. Just interested to know now why they reduced the card

Umm do you think.....Not that I'm applying for credit right this second or need it but might need a new car in next year as 6 years down line coming to needing serious work doing on it, i want to avoid anyone who was around during those dark days (creditors)

Finished IVA last year came off credit file, When iva started September 2008, I had a credit card with rbs which had a credit limit of£1900 on it, I didn't include this as nothing was on the card, anyway I got a letter to advise that they had reduced the card to £350 in ...

it's so unfair isn't it, I feel I was misled when I applied for an IVA, I was told debt free in 5-6 years yet mine is going well over 6 due to this PPI, I finished my term after 60months, they didn't start PPI till after that and it's taken over a year to compete yet friends who have done PPI themse...

Hi, Yes it's seems this way, I'd like to know if there are any laws as it's gone over the 1 year extension with no new report to tell me it's been extended, when I call they say PPI (computer says no to everything else!!)

Thanks for response, so does this mean somewhere in my IVA proposal it states that they can keep it open for as long as they like? 6 years ago when I started the IVA PPi claims wasn't in the headlines. What if something else pops up? I'm really interested to know if the IVA stays on my credit report...

There needs to be more legal rules around this, when I entered into the IVA It said max 6 years!! Is this legal to carry it on? Not my issue that they failed to start PPi until after I had finished, it's been a year, other people I know who have claimed PPi themselves had it completed within 3 month...
