Hi There, I've been offered a wonderful opportunity by the company to work for to do the full AAT course (paid). I just need to know one thing... on their application form you have to declare any agreement you have with creditors etc. Well we are in an IVA and this is our second year into the agreem...

Hi Melanie, I was just wondering have you ever dealt with HFC as creditor. They gave us hell just before the acceptance of the IVA. It would be interesting to know whether they are really difficult to deal with or the IP. Thanks

Hi Melanie, I just need to clarify something with you. I've seen it on one your previous post; You said that by paying extra (like overtime/payrise) into the IVA you may be able to pay it off early. How does this work exactly. Our debt mounts up to about £60k and we are paying 50p in £ (so thats abo...

Hi Priti, They've contacted us yesterday afternoon, but thanks to this website we knew it will happen eventually. Everytime I've seen a letter in the post from them i thought 'c**p this it, they are closing the account'. But need no worry, it seems easy enough to open another account and it wasn't w...

Hi all, I just wanted to know if anyone had Synergi as their IP and the IVA is going ok. Does anyone how they handle yearly reviews? They've asked us for our payslips (after 4 months into the IVA)to check if there is any money needs to be paid due to overtime/bonuses. They said it's their standard p...

Thanks all for your sound advice,
Neverending, this is for his travelling to and from his company's customer sites as he is part field engineer.
The money is not included in his salary but shows on his payslip as expenses and is exempt from taxes.
Thank you again.

Right!, let's ressurect this thread by saying THEY'VE DONE IT to us as well. As per my previous post, we are with First Direct and just about and hour ago I received the dreaded call, they're closing our Account on the 30th of March. We've been hoping Ricki's was an isolated case but how wrong we we...

Thanks for your reply Oliver, I understand what you mean but, wouldn't these expenses then be construed as extra income which is in real sense not? We always thought of this as reinboursment for the running of the car, petrol, service, repairs and so forth... and shouldn't be reflected towards the I...

Hi Melanie, Unfortunately the relief and excitement of the IVA had gotten the better of us after failing first time. We went throught it somehow but this seemed to be the same as the original, the part we paid more attention to was the modifications. As you said, we put our trust in them thinking th...

Hi everyone, I have a question about expenses, my husband travels to and from work about just about 70 miles daily and sometimes goes to customer's sites to do whatever he does. Now, his company pays him expenses for his travelling because he uses his own car, some pence per mile. What category does...
