Hi everyone, I hope you are well. So I should have made my 5th Payment this month, but have hit a bump! My ex has quit his job and is not paying child support, great! I have notified StepChange and sent them the required evidence from the CSA. They have said I need to review my budget, which I have ...

Thanks All. I got my Chairman's Report today... Which I have had to call SC about as its wrong! They list a modification which was rejected and have an incorrect statement about a call on the 10th NOV from a person I never spoke to! I have called them and they are going to look into it, but were ver...

IVA accepted... I know I should have probably adjourned but feel so relieved its done. I had pretty generous allowances so happy the payments are realistic even without the child benefit. Thanks both, I'm probably too impatient for my own good, as the change hasn't happened yet could I wait until it does then request an amendment? Or would it have to wait until review time. Really just want it all in place.

I will keep my fingers crossed! But thinking about it now I have the meeting date I could stop the payments I have been making and put that by, so not the end of the world. Then some careful budgeting next year and things wont be so bad, provided they don't insist on modifications

Thanks both! Makes me feel more confident I have done the right thing.

I have a couple of email addresses of friendly people, but I have dealt with a different person every time I've called. As long as things run smoothly I'm sure this will be fine.

Just a waiting game now.

Hi there, So I've just sent all my paper work to Step Change and they are drafting my IVA proposal. Read so money forums, so much info out there, I think I need a bit of reassurance! I think my IVA should be quite straight forward no assets, never taken any PPI, £65k, paying £750pm. Heard a few ho...

Hi there, I have an appointment with an IP later, I've been round a few now to discuss options. Do I have to include maintenance payments I get in the proposal? They have only been paid regularly for the last few months, my child's father stops and starts when he feels like it so I'm reluctant to in...
