I am just about to enter my additional 12 month extension, as can't re-finance etc and my car has given up on me! New gearbox and clutch needed and I'm looking at a ballpark figure of £1,000 at present. Would it be possible to get a second payment break as I had an initial one when my wife went on m...

I am fast approaching my 54 month Equity bit of my IVA but can't find my original paperwork with the wording I signed up for.
If I approach GT, would they provide me with this? If so what should I be asking for.

Hi Matt, The way I did it was to be logical and try and leave GT without any valid reason for paying out! First I emailed EIC the following at they gave me a full statement of where they've looked and where they are at. Once I had this back I emailed the standard GT contact and forwarded the EIC sch...

Like Foreverbroke all I can say, is find out where your PPI claim is from EIC and then pester GT. Received this email this morning. I write in response to your recent correspondence and thank you for the same. I hope this finds you well. I am sorry that you are not happy with the information we have...

These are the replies I had from EIC and GT from my original emails (This is before the one I sent yesterday) EIC - 19 January 2015 I can confirm that your Case is now Closed with Expert Insolvency Claims and has been passed back to Grant Thornton. GT - 2 February 2015 Unfortunately, at this stage E...

Well my two problems are really a) They say they haven't been informed that there is Stat Interest, and b) Saying everything is EICs fault when they've told me they've completed, been invoiced and probably paid. I did do the Spotty envelope, to be fair despite my reservations that they are taking a ...

I am so glad others are having problems with this. I've fired off a long email to GT today. I got notified that I had a C£7k refund due from a Lloyds loan (£1300 Stat Interest) at the start of November. EIC sent me a schedule in November saying only company they hadn't yet heard from was Nationwide,...

Thanks for this info. Did your wife have bad credit or was it you affecting it? My wife has an Experian Credit score of 950 and after looking on Money Saving Expert went for a card that she should get on there advice tool. Think it gave her an 80% chance of getting it. Did your wife go with one of t...

I'm 4/5s of the way through my IVA, and my wife is wondering whether she would be able to get a credit card for herself? Her credit rating is rated as good by Experian, but the only thing that I can see that will stop her is my name as a linked address on her credit file. Has anyone's spouse managed...
