Hi Ryan, I settled my IVA a few years ago but it remains visible on my file until next year. I contacted L&C about the chance of re-mortgaging. They said I could but they wouldn't be able to beat the rate I'm paying now (4.79% svr) so they suggested contacting them once the IVA is gone from my credi...

Hi everyone, I completed my IVA in March 2016 using F&F offer (IVA started Sep 2013). I have just looked at my credit report on Experian and have noticed that 2 loans I took out through Co-Op bank are still active defaults even though they were partially settled through the IVA. All other defaults r...

Hi, me and the wife have our variation meeting tomorrow at 1pm to see if our creditors have accepted our F&F offer, to say we are feeling nervous is an understatement. I don't think either of us will be sleeping tonight.

I don't think that would be a problem. I got one through work as my old car packed in. No car = no work = no income = no IVA. I'm pretty sure your IP will agree to this, following an income/expenditure review of course.

Hi just a quick update, I have been dealing with my case officer not my IP, my mistake. He has just informed me that he has been told that our case can be made a priority, although the Variation Team's team leader has said that first week in November is 'best case' scenario. I would sign the letter ...

Congratulations Lisa, I hope mine goes the same way. Can I ask how long it took from writing your letter to the meeting date? I wrote my letter a couple of weeks ago.
