can you tell me,when calculating income for an iva. if a person is on disability living allowance is that allowance included in the calculation,if so what does that person do to live with their disabilities if they have no allowance,and should they indeed be in an iva. at all.

i am an oap, also i am disabled. i am already involved in an iva, the monthly payement i make is out of my disablity allowance, now i am not sure that i should be paying out of this allowance because it looks to me that it cannot be classed as an income, am i correct and what do you advise me to do....
