Hindsight is a wonderful thing Michael! I've actually been contacted by Payplan last week to provide payslips so hopefully things are starting to move. Payplan have advised against entering such a clause concerning the redundancy as they think it is far more likely the F&F would be rejected if they ...

I've already done that Michael but they've said to be fair to all customers, they can't give preferential treatment to one (i.e. by speeding up the F&F process for me). They said they could put a clause in to say any subsequent redundancy monies can't be paid in but that would obviously increase the...

Hi again, another question! I have recently applied for a F&F and am awaitng for the variation to be drafted and creditors meeting arranged. However, since then, some 'voluntary exit packages' have become available in work (I'm a civil servant). This is something I would have to apply for and there ...

I've spoken to Payplan and they've confirmed it will be months, not weeks. Whilst they've not said they have a backlog (which is probably the case), they've said they do have a very large number of customers that have requested variations, which will take some months to process.

Hi Michael. I'm equally confused as to why it should take so long. This is an extract from Payplan's email to me after asking if they can speed up the process:~ 'The process for preparing the revised proposals to your creditors can take a few months. As this is a legally binding arrangement we are u...

Payplan have agreed to move forward with my F&F offer and it is currently being drafted by the variation team. Unfortunately they've indicated this could take some months. My last annual review was in September. Does this mean I'll need another review before the creditors meeting, and if so, is it j...

Hi, a couple of you have said in this post that you supply Payplan with your payslips every 3 months. I'm with payplan and have only been asked to supply the last 3 payslips along with my P60 after each of my annual reviews. I guess they would have told me by now if they want them every 3 months!

After reading various posts around Annual Reviews, I'm thinking I've had it easy. I'm with Payplan and my 2 annual reviews so far have consisted of a quick (ish) and pain free phone call from Payplan to update my I&E. Due to the minimal changes, my monthly payment has stayed the same. All I have had...

Thanks ever so much everyone for your comments. Payplan have just advised me that the IP has agreed I can make the settlement offer and that the variation team will draw up the variation proposal. What they have advised which I was unaware of, is that in the event the offer is rejected, it could lea...

Thanks all for your replies. If the offer is rejected by the creditors, do they ever give a counter offer and/or is it possible to put in a revised offer, or is it a once and only opportunity? Any ideas on the timescale from when you request F&F and outcome? I'm with Payplan, not much has been menti...

Thanks again Foggy. Do you think £4500 is a viable offer? It is based on my current monthly payments x the remainder of months left in my IVA. I'm assuming it is not in my interests to offer lower than this.
