ok, cheers anyway. I keep searching online but everytime I click on a website it says about having IVA or CCJ etc but not bankruptcy so I don't want to apply for god knows how many because it will make my credit score look even worse!! I think I'll just have to try and save what is this world coming...

Does anyone know the best place to get a car loan when you're bankrupt?? I have looked and seen that you can get a car loan if you're bankrupt or IVA etc but I don't know where to go!! Nationwide dont take on BR people now either. Just two weeks ago they changed their policy, I'm fuming as I waited half an hour in a queue to open an account and was told no. I've been discharged for over a year now, I'm not back in debt. SOMEONE GIVE US A BREAK!!!

I went into Nationwide today to open a basic flexaccount so I could use the e-savings and guess what?? from two weeks ago they stopped taking on customers who are bankrupt or in a IVA!!! how rude!! so now I have no idea how to get a savings account. When I went Bankrupt I had a car on credit, I was told you are allowed a car for transport but only up to the value of £2999, mine was worth (according to them) exactly £3000 so unless I carried on the payments outside the BR then it would be taken away!! Does anyone know why certain companies do not accept Solo or Electron cards?? It's confusing because they are the accounts you need to have money in to use the card but some people don't want to know!! [?]

no I didn't, I had an unused flex account with like £1 in, didn't even realise it was still open until I went BR and the ISA only had a few quid in too but I didn't owe them anything. SO shall I try open a current account first with them and then see if I can open savings?

yeah i know!! it's so stupid credit scoring for a savings account!! I know nationwide may open one for bankrupt people but when I went bankrupt I had a flex account & a ISA with them so I don't think they'd allow me to now and I don't want to keep applying to other companies because the more I'm tur...
