I understand what happens to a persons credit when they are declared bankrupt. But what happens to the property that you live in? Is it true it blacklists that property or is that an urban myth? My partner owns the house and quite obviously doesn't want anything bad against his house.

Hi
I owed Natwest who were my largest creditor £22000 and they voted yes with 1 mod that affected me! Pay an extra £40 on top of my original offer.

Just try not to worry to much. Everything always seems to work itself out in the end.

I was just wondering how it works when getting a mortgage with a friend when in an iva? Does it affect them in anyway? How much higher are the rates compaired to high street lenders?

Thanks
