So Michael, I would be required to extend for 12 months? Even though this was a mistake by the creditor (Moneyway) and IP (Knightsbridge)? I've just asked for a breakdown of the costs over the phone and the girl (who was very understanding) said she would speak to the supervisor. However, she didn't...

Thank you for the replies! The debt in question is to Moneyway loans. The initial loan amount was £5000. They apparently have only just now sent back the proof of debt, which amounts to £6800 (interest). I didn't think they could just say they want more when the IVA was already in place? Should I as...

Hi There, I've just had my second annual review and they decided to keep my monthly payments the same. Unfortunately, I've just had a call saying that one of my creditors has just sent back a proof of debt that includes all the interest from my loan. They want me to extend my IVA for a year. Can the...

It's been a long time since I've posted. It was this time last year that I was really down, not sleeping, not eating and just very unhappy. What a difference a year makes. This Christmas I'm not worried about money, I got everyone presents and I'm not living out of a cardboard box! Huge thanks to ev...

So as you know, I got approved for my iva! Still smiling about!

I set up a new select account with natwest in January. I just got an email saying that I had set up a basic account? Would they downgrade me for being in an iva? I wasn't paying anything for the account in the first place?

Thanks guys! The creditor that I owed the most money to stepped in and voted in my favour.

I feel so much better tonight. I haven't stopped smiling all day!

Just thought I'd let you all know they reversed the decision to charge me extra! My iva has been set up and I'm on the road to recovery. In 5 years I will have less hair but hopefully more money! I'm literally sat in the car on my lunch with tears rolling down my face! I haven't even told my girlfri...

Well my main creditor I've found out haven't actually voted. They want to out vote the other creditors. Fingers crossed!

I think if possible I will go for the extension, I suppose if I get a pay rise in the future I can always pay it sooner!

So as some of you will now, I had a creditors meeting yesterday. All voted in favour but with some modifications. In all, Knightsbridge quoted me £100 a month at the start of the application and now they want £160. This is leaving me nearly next to nothing to live on. I'm now seriously considering b...

I'm just waiting on the phone to get through to them now. What are the chances of them getting that amount down. I was under the impression it was a no negotiation sort of deal?

I don't yet know. I've asked them to call me back tomorrow!

60 pounds is a lot. But my other option is bankruptcy. I'm seriously considering it at the moment!

So "good" news, it's increased by 60 pounds a month. I'm going to think it over!
